Be A Vegetarian !

The biggest gift we can give anyone is the gift of compassion. Become vegetarian, be compassionate to all life on earth. No meat, no eggs, no fish.

This is a short animated video by our studio where we have tried to show how consuming non-vegetarian food affects our mental make-up. As the characters consume meat they start to get restless and lose touch with themselves ultimately sprouting horns and consuming more meat until it leads to their end. The video takes a comedic take on the issue and tries to show why vegetarianism is a healthier and more spiritual life choice.

VEGAN. For the People. For the Planet. For the Animals.

People everywhere are making choices more connected with their values.

We are simplifying our lives, buying less and living more because we know that the Earth provides enough to satisfy everyone’s need, but not everyone’s greed.

But there is one connected choice that sometimes gets overlooked. It’s one of the most far-reaching personal, practical and ethical choices you can make. With this choice we can help…

… feed ourselves and every hungry person on the planet.
… end deforestation — replenish the deep woods of the North and save our disappearing rainforests.
… revitalize our rural landscapes and save family farms.
… stop the number one polluter of water and the number one waster of water.
… return our oceans to thriving underwater worlds teeming with life and wonder.
… make cancer and heart disease a rarity instead of a common occurrence.
… stop the unnecessary suffering of billions and billions of animals.
… and return wild lands to their rightful owners.

This powerful choice can be done by everyone every day… by you… right now.

Every day you are invited to make choices. Live your values. Change the world.

It’s that simple.

Carren’s Couch 03 – The Diet To Save The World

With so much confusion around all the diets out there…. Paleo, Hunter Gatherer, Blood Type, Atkins…. and the list goes on….I decided to bring you someone who I have been watching and admiring for years… Dr Will Tuttle!! He was in Australia recently and so graciously joined me for a special studio interview which I was so excited about. I have to admit, I was a little ‘star struck’ until he crossed his legs on the chair and relaxed like the normal, down to earth person that he really is.

In this episode, we have lifted the lid on some really controversial truths and I strongly recommend that you check it out, even if you are a committed meat eater! There is information here that will blow your mind, and hopefully, bring us all just one step closer to being more aware of the impact we have on all of humanity!

DSM – Optimum Vitamin Nutrition – Animated Infographics

Green communicatie got in contact with us to make an infographic about the new vitamin supplementation guidelines of DSM.
DSM calculates the right levels of vitamins for each animal, so farmers can grow healthy and efficient animals.
We decided on flat design and did the illustration ourselves. We had to use elements of the guidelines booklet in the animation, which ended up looking quite nice.

Rhinoceros (pronounced /raɪˈnɒsərəs/), often colloquially abbreviated rhino, is a group of five extant species of odd-toed ungulates in the family rhinocerotidae. Two of these species are native to Africa and three to southern Asia. Three of the five species—the Javan, Sumatran and Black Rhinoceros—are critically endangered. The greater, one-horned Indian Rhinoceros is endangered, with fewer than 2,700 individuals remaining in the wild. The White is registered as “vulnerable”, with approximately 17,500 remaining in the wild, as reported by the International Rhino Foundation.

The rhinoceros family is characterized by its large size (one of the largest remaining megafauna alive today), with all of the species able to reach one ton or more in weight; herbivorous diet; and a thick protective skin, 1.5–5 cm thick, formed from layers of collagen positioned in a lattice structure; relatively small brains for mammals this size (400–600 g); and a large horn. They generally eat leafy material, although their ability to ferment food in their hindgut allows them to subsist on more fibrous plant matter, if necessary. Unlike other perissodactyls, the African species of rhinoceros lack teeth at the front of their mouths, relying instead on their powerful premolar and molar teeth to grind up plant food.

The rhino is killed by humans for its horn. The horns of a rhinoceros are made of keratin, the same type of protein that makes up hair and fingernails. Both African species and the Sumatran Rhinoceros have two horns, while the Indian and Javan Rhinoceros have a single horn. Rhinoceroses have acute hearing and sense of smell, but poor eyesight. Most live to be about 60 years old or more.

Compassionate Living Fayre

This is a film about the Compassionate Living Fayre 2009 held in Edinburgh in July 2009.

Organized by the Edinburgh-based group Bunnyhuggers, it brought together different campaigning groups and traders from all over Scotland.

This regular event shows that living in balance with nature and animals is not only possible, but also a very pleasant and satisfying way of life.

A vegan diet, for example, is the most environment friendly way to eat and offers proven health benefits, since it is generally high in protein and fibre but low in saturated fats.

If Slaughterhouses had Glass Walls, Everyone would be Vegetarian

“Glass Walls” goes deeper into the meat and dairy industries than any video produced before. Narrated by and starring Sir Paul McCartney. PETA’s shocking new video takes its inspiration from the most well-known quote in the animal rights movement and offers a brief glimpse behind the walls of slaughterhouses, factory farms, live-animal transport and the fishing industry.
